Alanis Morissette, Mario ‘Souleye’ Treadway and their toddler Ever were spotted leaving their hotel in New York City on Tuesday (June 19). The Jagged Little Pill singer was taking her family to the TimesTalk Presents An Evening With Alanis Morrisette event. At the interview she talked to Jon Pareles – the New York Times Chief pop music critic – about her new album Havoc and Bright Lights. She also starts touring this summer in the U.K. and Europe. Alanis believes in Attachment Parenting. She talked to Good Morning America in May about the subject. Asked if she would breastfeed Ever until five or six years old – she replied, “I’ll stop whenever he wants.” She added, “Some kids naturally stop at two, some stop at a couple of years later, it’s up to the child.
